Duo Zeitlos

This programme revolves around two ‘chameleon’ composers, both extremely prolific and ingenious in their respective eras: Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767) and Philippe Hersant (born in 1948). Both offer music that conveys a love of playing, in every sense of the word. Accompanied by minimalist staging, this deliberate alternation of styles takes the listener on a journey to the heart of their emotions through the discovery of rarely performed but highly expressive music.
Anne-Charlotte Dupas and Chloé Parisot, who have been collaborating for some fifteen years, formed the Zeitlos duo in 2023 in Dieulefit. The unusual combination of the viola and the cello allows for the development of an extraordinary sound palette that is particularly close to the human voice. Chloé Parisot has been a regular member of the Pygmalion orchestra since 2021.
