Aesthesis Quartet, Peter Corser

The BIRDS music project is an immersive sound adventure combining music and awareness-raising activities by the League for the Protection of Birds, a unique, eclectic and cross-disciplinary programme. Pieces from the classical repertoire interact with works from traditional folklore and song, arranged by Jonas Mordzinski. Working with saxophonist and composer Peter Corser adds an extra dimension by introducing elements of jazz and improvisation, with the saxophone conceived as a fifth voice.
At each of its concerts, the Aesthesis Quartet offers a personal and expressive journey that opens minds and hearts. From Monteverdi to contemporary composers, its programmes resonate with the sensibilities of today’s audience. The quartet regularly collaborates with artists from other musical worlds.
☀️ The concert at the Foyer du Cypressat will be preceded by a workshop for residents.
☀️ The concert at Station Ausone – Librairie Mollat will be preceded by two mini-concerts for pupils at Stéhélin nursery school.
This Kiosque will be complemented by concerts at the Autonomie Buchou (Bordeaux) and Arlette Gelé de Francony (Bordeaux) residences.
