Mozart & The Weber Sisters
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
A symbol of the composer’s awakening love, the Weber family was present at every stage of the last fifteen years of Mozart’s life. Through four scenes, this programme paints a rich portrait of the three Weber sisters and muses, each embodying a different stage in the creative life of one of the greatest ‘lovers’ in the history of music.

La presse en parle
By turns imperious and tender, the soprano lends her voice to the Weber sisters, one of whom married Mozart. A virtuoso, inspired performance. (30 November 2015, Sophie Bourdais)
Bursting with youth, enthusiasm and respect for music, this original recording is much more than confirmation of the talent of an exceptional soprano: it is a true act of culture. (November 2015, Richard Martais)
The performers are utterly convincing in their artistic relevance, as immensely talented performers and cultured artists capable of devising a highly original programme of irresistible coherence. And it is Mozart, with his ardent heart and timeless tenderness, who emerges victorious from this formidable and thoroughly stimulating programme. (7 November 2015, Elvire James)
