It enjoys the support of the Direction r\u00e9gionale des affaires culturelles de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Ville de Bordeaux, D\u00e9partement de la Gironde, r\u00e9gion Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Centre national de la musique.\u00a0Ensemble associated with the Op\u00e9ra-Comique (2023\u20132027), Pygmalion receives support from Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Bailly, the ensemble’s honorary patron. Pygmalion is artist-in-residence at Fondation Singer-Polignac as an associate artist and is a member of the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Ensembles Vocaux et Instrumentaux Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s (FEVIS), Sc\u00e8ne Ensemble, and R\u00e9zo MUSA. Fondation d\u2019entreprise Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, Eren Groupe, Xavier Moreno and Alain Rauscher are patrons of Pygmalion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fondation d\u2019entreprise Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership linking Pygmalion to M\u00e9c\u00e9nat Musical Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale and then to the Fondation d\u2019entreprise Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale began in 2008 with a commission to composer Vincent Manac\u2019h for Wolkengesang<\/em>, a work for choir and early instruments designed to be presented as a mirror image of a cantata by J. S. Bach. The resulting search for new correspondences between timbres and writings laid the foundations for a long-term partnership, encouraging Pygmalion to develop, in project after project, a laboratory combining creativity, excellence, and a commitment to sharing its discoveries with the widest possible audience. If we can speak of the DNA shared by Pygmalion and its musical director, Rapha\u00ebl Pichon, it has guided their neverending quest to renew how musical heritage is transmitted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
